DESCRIPTION:
This monitor will check the timestamp of a given file or folder, compare it’s age with a given parameter (in minutes) and will then trigger an alert into HP OpenView Operations Manager.
- The alert will indicate if the file or folder is missing, old or current
- The monitor is useful for checking if a particular file has been updated in the past X minutes, or alternatively can check if a folder has not had any files saved to it within the past X minutes
- The code has been tested on the platform described but is not guaranteed to work in your environment
- This document is intended to provide you with an example of what we have done, and what can be achieved with the tools mentioned
