DESCRIPTION:
This monitor will check the available swap space (i.e. free swap space) and will trigger an alert into HP OpenView Operations Manager.
- Returns the swap space available (free) in Megabytes
- Utilises different swap commands depending on the agent Operating System, so can be deployed to multiple server types
- The code has been tested on the platform described but is not guaranteed to work in your environment
- This document is intended to provide you with an example of what we have done, and what can be achieved with the tools mentioned
