This monitor will check the Solaris ODS metadb configuration on a server and will trigger an alert into HP OpenView Operations Manager.
- Alerts if less than 2 ODS metastate database devices exist
- Alerts if any metadb device has less than 3 copies
- Thresholds are configurable
- Caters for instances where ODS is not used
- This document is intended to provide you with an example of what we have done, and what can be achieved with the tools mentioned
