DESCRIPTION:
This script will purge (delete) previously downloaded HP OpenView Operations Manager for UNIX (OVOU/OMU) history files (messages or audit) older than a specified number of days.
- Runs on the HP OpenView Operations Manager for UNIX (OVOU/OMU) management server(s) only
- It assumes you are regularly downloading history data (messages or audit) to a directory
- Can be used as a housekeeping tool
- The code has been tested on the platform described but is not guaranteed to work in your environment
- This document is intended to provide you with an example of what we have done, and what can be achieved with the tools mentioned
