DESCRIPTION:
This monitor will check the size of a specified file and will trigger an alert into HP OpenView Operations Manager.
- It performs a simple check to see if the file is present and then returns the size of the file in Bytes or Megabytes, depending on the input parameter
- It can be used as a basic housekeeping task for specific files
- The code has been tested on the platform described but is not guaranteed to work in your environment
- This document is intended to provide you with an example of what we have done, and what can be achieved with the tools mentioned
